With a weakened immune system, Mimine has contracted a severe ear infection...

1. She had an infected ear...

Mimine is an elderly cat that we took in last year. She had a severe ear infection which necessitated a lot of care. Suffering from feline leukaemia, Mimine's healing process is slower and her health is fragile, because her immune system is weakened, which complicates things...

2. She has hardly any teeth left!

As she has aged, Mimine has lost most of her teeth, which means she can no longer chew. Due to this and her other vulnerabilities, no one wants to adopt her!

3. With canned food, she could regain her energy

Canned cat food that's suitable for senior cats would provide Mimine with a nutritious diet, perfect for gaining strength. She would be able to eat it easily, despite the condition of her teeth.

Being able to replenish her body with good nutrients daily would grant her vital energy, to spend her twilight years as comfortably as possible.

4. The abandonments don’t stop...

In addition to the kittens we find outside, there are always a great number of cats being abandoned. Currently, there are 200 cats at the shelter and about thirty in foster care... Donations and subsidies are not enough to cover all our expenses!
