Following a serious illness, Cleopatre developed heart and lung problems!

1. She's suffering from cardiopulmonary problems…

Cleopatra is an elderly cat who has had Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a serious illness linked to a virus.

She's about to finish her treatment, but she's left with lingering issues: she had fluid in her lungs and developed a heart murmur, which she will have for the rest of her life. She now needs ongoing treatment for her heart issues, and is scheduled to see a cardiologist soon.

2. Blankets would provide her with comfortable recovery

A bunch of blankets would provide warmth and comfort for Cleopatra to allow her to fully rest. This would help her to stabilise while enhancing her quality of life.

3. An outbreak hits the cats of the association!

We've had many sick cats, of which about a dozen have died. Currently, we're grappling with an outbreak of FIP, additionally managing 75 cats, many of which are strays. Caring for and feeding them far exceeds our budget capabilities!
