1. A tropical disease transmitted by a tick!

Zelie is a 12-year-old dog who suffers from heartworm disease. This tropical illness was transmitted to her by a tick, and it's causing her to vomit.

Her legs are also swollen, and her heart is tired. Consequently, her veterinarian has prescribed a three-month treatment course.

2. Canned food could help her recover

Age-appropriate canned dog food could encourage Zelie to eat well. This would help to maintain her weight and tolerate her medication. Easily digestible and high quality, such a diet would contribute to her regaining better health.

3. The charity is overwhelmed with demands...

We've stopped all the out-of-area rescuing and now manage only local cases due to the high numbers of abandonments. Since the last lockdown, the situation remains challenging, and our food supplies are exhausted...

We still have numerous residents to care for, most of whom will stay with the charity for life! The cost of their care and treatment also represents a significant expense...
