Nikita is a cat of about fifteen years old, who has lived outdoors for 14 years. Recently, she has significantly lost weight, and so we have taken her in. It seems that, due to her age, she is no longer able to chew dry food, as her teeth have become weakened...
Canned food for seniors would be more suitable for Nikita, as it is soft and easy to swallow. It could therefore compensate for her inability to chew, whilst providing her with the necessary nutrients she needs. It would be an excellent opportunity for her to regain weight!
We are grappling with a lack of resources, particularly for food. With 25 cats at home and 110 free-roaming cats living outside, the costs are enormous!
We don’t have enough donations and there are few adoptions, particularly for sick cats, which complicates the situation even more...
