Fever, inflamed gums, mouth ulcers: little Gota has a severe case of calicivirus!

1. She's very ill!

Gota is a four-month-old kitten, who was found in the countryside, suffering from a severe case of calicivirus. She had nearly a 41°C fever and is struggling to recover!

Her gums are red and she has ulcers in her mouth. So, we're giving her antibiotics and painkillers, to aid her recovery.

2. Blankets would help her recover

A set of blankets would allow Gota to stay warm, while she recovers her strength. A soft and comfortable environment would contribute to her comfort and recovery. She could thus continue her growth more calmly.

3. Donations are decreasing

At the moment, we have 17 kittens in our care, making a total of 85 animals to manage. People lack resources, the local council isn't helping us, and donations are scarce.

Fortunately, the Bardot Foundation has given us some vouchers for sterilisation, but needs remain high since the creation of the association in 2015...
