Charlie is a cat of about eight years old, living outside in a storage area. We've been feeding him for three years, but recently he's been getting increasingly thin. It turns out he has kidney failure, a condition which strains his body as he can no longer effectively eliminate toxins.
Charlie also has gingivitis. His mouth is riddled with abscesses, which suggests he may have calicivirus. So we have a treatment to give him, in the hope it might soothe him...
A set of blankets would help Charlie to maintain his body heat, especially during winter nights. This would reduce the energy he has to expend on warming himself, and allow him to concentrate his strength on getting better.

Around sixty stray cats are reliant on us, alongside about ten kittens in foster care. Between buying the food and the gasoline, we’re struggling to make ends meet!
