Mamie, an elderly mare, has been terribly thin since her arrival. She struggles to digest and utilise grass effectively. Not to mention her dental conditions, which don’t help, and prevent her from grazing efficiently!

2. She suffers from respiratory issues!

Regrettably, Mamie has heaves. This condition forces her heart and lung functions to compensate greatly. Being in the pasture is too strenuous for her...

3. Pellets would help her gain strength effectively

Moistened pellets would allow Mamie to gain weight effectively. This would allow her to reliably build up her energy reserves on a daily basis and improve her overall condition despite her various health issues.

4. Our resources are becoming increasingly limited…

We are facing an increase of new cases, often involving animals in difficult circumstances. With many facilities reaching full capacity, our help is increasingly in demand!
