Mistigrise is a five-year-old cat, who had been living outdoors for five years until she gave birth to kittens.
Since she was suffering from severe cat flu, we took care of her and her kittens, all of whom have since been adopted. Mistigrise's nose is runny and her eyes are always teary, so we are providing her with a treatment in cycles of 15 days.
Protein-rich canned food would help Mistigrise regain her strength. This would be a chance for her body to benefit from valuable minerals and vitamins, which would help bolster her and combat the virus more effectively.
Due to a lack of space in foster homes, we had to release Mistigrise back to her original location. So, she's again living outdoors, on private property very much exposed to draughts.
Being exposed to all weather conditions makes her more vulnerable every day... With her health problems, we are worried for her and fear that she may not survive the winter without shelter...
With a kennel, Mistigrise could take shelter in case of severe cold and bad weather. Thus, she would no longer have to sleep on the ground in all weather, and could recover more easily.
The association is facing massive financial difficulties, as we had to care for multiple litters of kittens and puppies without having a shelter. With animals of all ages to manage, our resources are insufficient to meet all of their needs!
