Following intense heat, Cinnamon has lost a lot of weight and nearly didn't make it!

1. She was in a critical condition!

Cannelle is a 17-year-old mare that we rescued because her owners did not want to keep her. Two months ago, during a prolonged heatwave, Cannelle fell ill. She lost a significant amount of muscle mass to the point where we almost lost her! She pulled through, but she is still very weak...

2. Pellets would help her regain her strength

Pellets would allow Cannelle to quickly replenish her energy levels. Having such a nutrient-dense feed daily would help her gradually regain weight and her overall health. This would enable her to go through the winter in good health.

3. We are overwhelmed by the cost of care...

We are continuously facing financial difficulties with our ageing equines as they require constant care. The association relies on just three volunteers with limited resources, who have to fund everything with their small pensions. This cannot continue!
