Laminitis, recurring abscesses: Quetzan has Cushing's disease!

1. He is extremely delicate and often suffers from health problems.

Quetzan is a 20-year-old pony, who we started caring for after his elderly owners were hospitalised. He has Cushing's Disease: his feet are inflamed (he has laminitis) and he often has abscesses all over his body.

Weakened in terms of his immune system, he catches all the passing diseases! He is therefore being treated, but struggles to gain weight...

2. With pellets, he could regain some of his strength

Suitable pellets could give Quetzan a balanced and sufficiently nutritious diet. This would help him regain his health, and generally improve his condition, despite the disease.

3. Winter complicates everything...

The arrival of winter makes managing our horses and equines more complicated. We arrange for them to take turns in the fields to avoid overburdening the land and to ensure their well-being. But our limited resources greatly complicate this organisation!
