1. He frequently suffers from cat flu…

Velcro is a kitten of about five months. He has a serious case of cat flu which comes and goes, characterised by a lot of sneezing and hard breathing.

Owing to the fatigue induced by the virus, he's experiencing stunted growth and struggles to gain weight, in spite of being medicated.

2. Blankets would keep him warm this winter

A set of blankets would provide Velcro with much-needed warmth, contributing significantly to his recovery. By reducing his exposure to the cold, he could better dedicate his energy to getting better, thus enhancing his chances of overcoming his illness.

3. Our situation is extremely strained!

With over eighty resident cats and around twenty kittens undergoing treatment and socialisation, we are swamped. Requests for care come in daily, and there are too few adoptions.

Our financial situation is particularly strained. We are no longer able to manage the expenses for the care and daily needs of our charges; we need help!
