Upon arrival, River was in a critical condition...

Refuge Cheval Nature En Aquitaine decided to move forward the ending date of their campaign because the quantity left in their stock of pellets is highly critical.

1. She arrived in a critical condition!

River is a 17-year-old mare who arrived, riddled with lice and in an emaciated state. She had injured her leg and suffered a wither fracture. Today, she is doing better, but she has a tendency to quickly weaken ...

2. Pellets would allow her to maintain

A complete diet such as pellets would be perfect for River. She could replenish with good nutrients every day, so as to not lose condition, despite the cold and dampness of winter.

3. The association is going through a difficult period ...

Some of our horses previously adopted have been abandoned again and have returned to the association. Currently, we have 12 wards to look after, which represents significant expenses.

We are doing our utmost to raise funds, but it is not enough as donations have drastically dropped!
