Fred is a trotter of about seven years old who was no longer fast enough for the clock. We took him in to save him from ending up at the slaughterhouse. So far, he's doing well but tends to catch a cold in the winter...

2. Pellets would help him stay healthy

A supplement of pellets would be perfect for Fred. By filling up on energy daily, he could keep himself in good condition. It would be a good way for him to hold on until the grass returns in the fields.
