Quisas is an eight-year-old mare, who developed an abscess under her hoof and fractured the knee of the same leg. She spent a considerable amount of time lying down and the abscess has subsided. However, her knee remains very swollen...

2. With pellets, she could maintain her condition

While we're working on treating her knee, Quisas could greatly benefit from some additional nourishment, as this period of inactivity has weakened her. Replenishing with good nutrients from pellets would aid her recovery greatly.

3. Our budget is directly impacted by the lack of space!

As we are in the midst of relocating, we are not taking in any new horses due to lack of space. We'll need to invest in a new piece of land... The budget for buying food for our charges will therefore be reduced!
