Diarrhoea, breathing difficulties, thinness: poor Vermouth was in a lamentable state!

1. He was in a dire state!

Vermouth is a cat that we found outside, in a critical condition. He was extremely thin and struggling to put on weight due to diarrhoea. So, we took him in, in an attempt to nurse him back to health.

2. He has chronic cat flu...

Vermouth has a very severe case of cat flu, which seems to have been present for quite some time. His breathing difficulties are particularly worrying. Since he is FIV-positive (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), his immune system is struggling to fight off the virus...

3. Blankets would allow him to rest fully

A little softness and comfort would allow Vermouth to benefit from a more restorative sleep. In his condition, he will need plenty of rest! It would also be a good way for him to stay warm whilst he recovers.

4. There are so many cats in need!

We need food for animals now more than ever. Donations continue to decrease, while the number of cats in need is continuously rising... the association is overwhelmed!
