1. He lives outdoors!

Pompon is a two-and-a-half-year-old cat, who lives outside in an underwood. The place is infested with mosquitoes and is particularly damp... It's a really hostile environment for cats!

2. He can no longer chew...

Stricken with calicivirus, Pompon had to undergo a total dental extraction. The operation relieved him, decreasing the inflammation in his mouth. However, he can no longer eat dry food, as he's unable to chew it...

3. He has cat flu!

Pompon has chronic cat flu, which returns periodically. When it does, his nose starts to run and his eyes water, which wears him out considerably! We therefore have a treatment to give him.

4. A kennel would provide him with shelter

With a kennel, we could protect Pompon from the elements. Not having to sleep directly on the damp and dirty ground would be a real relief for him. He could finally get some much-needed rest!

5. Treating cats in need is very expensive!

Some of our charges are sick, and require a special diet that is rather costly. The cost of their care and feeding runs into several hundred pounds per cat! But unfortunately, donations and subscriptions fall far short of covering all of these expenses...
