1. Stricken by illness…

Maisy is a 29-year-old mare, who we took in because her owner was unwell and couldn't look after her anymore.

Sadly she suffers from Cushings syndrome: her coat is excessively hairy and she is losing muscle mass, which makes her frighteningly vulnerable.

2. Pellets would help her maintain her strength

Benefitting from a supplement like pellets would offer Maisy the means to recover her health, then maintain a stable weight. This would be a rich and balanced source of nutrients, which would help support her weakened body.

3. Our food reserves are almost empty!

We receive no subsidies, which makes our financial management even more challenging. Most of the animals we care for are elderly and non-adoptable!
