Bowie is a four-year-old cat, who was neutered in December 2022. We've been worried lately as she has lost a lot of weight. Veterinary examinations revealed that she has two health conditions...

Bowie has cat flu, which primarily affects her eyes, causing them to constantly water. She also has gingivitis, causing inflammation of her gums. We've given her a cortisone injection for relief.

3. Canned food would help her gain weight back

To replenish her energy, Bowie will need a wet diet, which would be easier for her to consume than dry food. With such a diet, she could gradually regain weight and strength, helping her body combat her conditions more effectively.
