Corentin is homeless, even though he has calicivirus and a severe case of cat flu!

1. He has inflammation in his mouth...

Corentin is a free-roaming cat that has unfortunately contracted calicivirus. This disease causes him to have inflammation inside his mouth, which disrupts his ability to eat. He's in pretty bad shape!

2. He has chronic cat flu!

Corentin also has cat flu which has settled in a chronic form. The virus causes him respiratory difficulty as well as a decreased appetite…

3. He lives outside...

Corentin lives along the banks of the Seine, on a private piece of land where we had placed two chalets. Unfortunately, a fire swept everything away!

Since then, he has nowhere to shelter… Between the viruses, the harsh weather and the ambient humidity, his everyday life is certainly challenging!

4. A kennel could provide him with the shelter he requires

With a kennel, Corentin could finally sleep shielded from the wind and the rain. Not having to sleep on the bare ground anymore would allow him to rest more effectively. After all the upheaval caused by the fire, it would become a new focal point for him…

5. A fire destroyed the organisation’s shelters!

The two chalets that we had set up as shelters for the free-roaming cats caught fire a few days ago. Since then, the poor toms have nowhere to shelter! They wander amidst the charred debris and are completely disoriented…
