Fever, breathing difficulties, weight loss: young Taika has contracted FIP!

1. She's in a bad way!

Taïka is a five-month-old kitten born to a stray mother. We took her in because she is very ill: affected by feline infectious peritonitis (FIP), she has a fever, breathing difficulties and has lost a lot of weight... We are therefore going to start treatment to take care of her as best we can.

2. Blankets would keep her warm

For optimal recovery, Taïka could really use a bundle of blankets. It would be a good way to help her regulate her body heat, allowing her to conserve as much energy as possible. A bit of comfort during this tough time would do her wonders...

3. The association is in the red!

We're in the red, due to many recent rescues. Not to mention that one of our charges is suffering from FIP... we're going to face heavy veterinary costs to get her treatment!
