Eye problems, foot pain, lack of condition: Kenzo is not feeling well...

1. He's frightfully skinny...

Kenzo is a 27-year-old horse we took in about two weeks ago. Having been underfed at his previous home, he's now around 80 to 100 kg underweight...

2. His health is frail!

Kenzo frequently has episodes of uveitis: this inflammation of his eyes can be quite painful. We're doing our best to treat him accordingly.

Kenzo also suffers from navicular disease. The bone in one of his feet is inflamed, causing him to limp and struggle to move around.

3. Pellets would help him recover

A supplement such as pellets would help Kenzo rapidly gain weight. Rich in vitamins and minerals, they would provide him with valuable energy and a healthy food source. Getting his fill would be a true relief for him!

4. Staying afloat is becoming especially tough...

We are finding it increasingly difficult to raise funds, as there are fewer donations coming in. As we're already responsible for feeding 150 mouths, we are forced to turn down dozens of requests for help each week...
