1. She's struggling to eat...

Mimine is a very elderly cat that we began looking after following the death of her owner. Due to her age, she now has almost no teeth left.

Her gums are also very inflamed due to gingivitis. We therefore add medicine to her food and give her a cortisone injection once a month to ease her discomfort.

2. Canned food would make taking her medicine easier

A wet food such as canned pâté would be the most suitable for Mimine's situation. It's appetising and easy to ingest, so this type of diet would allow her to take her treatment regularly. Replenishing her energy like this every day would enable her to have a more peaceful old age.
