1. He lives outdoors!

Pompon is a two-and-a-half-year-old cat who lives outdoors in an underwood. The place is swarming with mosquitos and is extremely damp… It's really a hostile environment for cats!

2. He can no longer chew...

Pompon, afflicted by calicivirus, had to undergo a total dental extraction. The operation relieved him, reducing the inflammation in his mouth. However, he can no longer eat kibble as he can't chew at all...

3. He has cat flu!

Pompon has chronic cat flu, which keeps coming back in phases. His nose then starts to run and his eyes tear, which considerably exhausts him! So we have a treatment to give him.

4. To regain his strength, he'll need canned food

A tasty and moist diet would be ideal for Pompon. In addition to making it easier for him to take his medication, this type of canned food would help him replenish his energy levels. It would really be a huge benefit for him!

5. Treating cats who need it is very expensive!

Some of our charges are sick and need especially costly specialised food. Treating and feeding them costs several hundreds of pounds per cat! But unfortunately, donations and memberships come nowhere near covering all the costs...
