Struck by a calicivirus, poor Cala is having a lot of trouble eating!

1. She struggles to eat...

Cala is a cat of at least 10 years old, who has had a relapse of calicivirus and lost weight. The inside of her mouth is so inflamed that she whimpers when she eats. So we mix tablets into her food to alleviate her pain...

2. Canned food would help her regain strength without pain

Wet and easy-to-swallow food would allow Cala to feed without struggling. It would be a good way for her to take her medication, while allowing her to regain some weight.

3. Two severe outbreaks among the street cats cared for by the association...

We don't receive any subsidies, so when care is required, we have to fund it ourselves...

With the outbreak of cat flu and calicivirus we're facing, trips to the vet are neverending. Unfortunately, our funding does not stretch that far!
