Jules lives outside, even though he carries a serious disease that could break out at any moment...

1. He is carrying a serious disease!

Jules is a cat of about nine years old, who is carrying Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). At the moment, the disease has not yet manifested itself. But at any time, his condition could take a fatal downturn! We are therefore keeping a close watch on him.

2. He lives outdoors…

Jules is too feral to tolerate living indoors. He therefore lives outside, in a meadow, close to an agricultural shed. Unfortunately, the area is exposed to wind and inclement weather…

3. A shelter would keep him safe from the rain

With a shelter, Jules would have a place to take refuge in case of wet or damp weather. He could settle in there comfortably, shielded from the elements, and benefit from a more restorative rest.

4. The arrival of kittens is overwhelming us!

We have already taken in 56 kittens and nine mother cats... With 80 stray cats to feed, we fear the arrival of additional little ones, while the birthing season is far from over…

All the expenses related to their care represent a considerable expense that we can't then allocate to their food!
