Animal Webaction
This campaign has failed... SOS 60 dogs Bosnia hasn't received anything. Why?

It is always a huge disappointment to see a campaign fail, it means that the concerned animals will not receive any help. Unfortunately, we can not ship incomplete campaigns.

When a campaign fails, why can't you at least deliver what has been collected ?

We want to maximize the help we are all bringing to the animals in distress. Our campaign goals are calculated to balance our storage, delivery and manufacturing costs of the offered products.

Delivering failed campaigns would generate too many costs, which would eventually lead to the bankruptcy of the website and leave all the animals that we could have helped alone...

The delivery of unfinished campaigns is also physically impossible for some products (if only 50% of a kennel is financed: we can not cut it in half).

Why can't you at least transfer the collected money to the association ?

Our activity is regulated by the french tax law, it forbides us to transfer money instead of the advertised product (article L 548-1 of the Monetary and Financial Code).

For this reason, when a campaign fails, donations are immediately refunded. If they want to, donors can send this money directly to the association.

If you can't transfer the collected money to the association, why don't you just send it to another one ?

Our activity is regulated by the french tax law, it forbides us to use the money for anything else than the original use announced in the campaign (article L 548-1).

So, unfortunately, we are not allowed to transfer donations from a campaign to another.

What happens to the free clicks assigned to a failed campaign?

Free clicks are saved before being reallocated to other campaigns (free clicks being immaterial, they are not submited to the same obligations than financial donations).

1. In Bosnia, Maya has almost no kibble left to feed the 60 dogs in her shelter. They will starve to death if no one steps in!

%%%

"There are more and more dogs on the streets right now. To 'solve' the problem, the city pays people to catch them with unheard-of brutality... More than once, we've found ourselves face to face with them, having to literally pry the dogs from their hands to save them. It's harrowing, exhausting, and terrifying, for both the dogs and for us...

As a result, our shelter is packed to the brim. This puts enormous pressure on the whole team, because we already have so few resources. And on top of all that, there's the food problem. We fight every single day just to manage to feed all the animals we've taken in.

We have just a few bags of kibble left, enough for three days, no more. Our main worry is the impact this shortage will have on the dogs' health. We saved them, yes, but what happens next? We can't let them suffer from hunger now. It would be truly heartbreaking if this campaign were to fail..."

2. The kibble shortage is halting the dogs' recovery, and Maya fears for the most vulnerable ones.

###

"Many of our dogs are vulnerable: sick, elderly, recently abandoned, or recovering from major surgeries. Whether they're at the shelter or still receiving care at the vet, they all need food to heal! The problem is, we are desperately short on kibble; it's a real emergency...

Without kibble, and more broadly, without proper nutrition, our dogs simply can't stay healthy! They grow weaker, their recovery stalls, and they relapse... Some may not even make it. This thought terrifies me.

So naturally, our most urgent need today is to find food. This campaign is vital! It's not just about full bellies; it's what gives our dogs the strength to heal and be healthy. Without kibble, it all falls apart..."

3. Weakened by severe heart issues, Shaggy's recovery now depends entirely on kibble...

###

"Shaggy is a dog of about 10 years old that we've just taken in. His story is unfortunately a terrible one: he was attacked by other dogs and, while trying to escape, was hit head-on by a car.

Today, the after-effects of the accident are severe. He's only just started walking again... On top of that, he suffers from heart problems that require him to take daily medication.

He is in a state of extreme weakness. For him, proper nutrition is the foundation of everything; it's the key to him being able to fight. Without the right food, his body will simply become even more exhausted, which would completely destroy his chances of recovering... or even of surviving at all."

4. Falling donations and mounting debt are forcing the shelter to suspend medical care... This kibble campaign is crucial for the dogs

###

"Right now, donations are down, and it's very hard to find new supporters. There are so many requests for help everywhere that even our partners in the UK, who used to help us with adoptions, are completely overwhelmed. We feel trapped. We're in a very difficult situation: we have €3,000 in vet debt, overdue kibble bills, and we're even at risk of losing the shelter's land because we can't pay the rent.

This pressure forces us to make terrible choices, especially regarding veterinary care. We have to postpone things as essential as vaccinations. The worst part is, we're even forced to delay follow-up care for dogs who are already sick. We live with the constant fear that their condition will worsen; it's a source of anguish for the entire team...

Frankly, at this point, we have no other way to get kibble. You are the only organized and reliable help we can count on to feed our dogs. Without you, it's going to become very difficult, if not impossible, to feed them every day, which is the very foundation of keeping them healthy."

5. Maya isn't asking for money, only for kibble to keep the dogs from starving.

###

"It's incredibly hard to see an animal suffer. Especially when you know you can't always do everything that needs to be done for them. The one thing that makes us forget all that is the moment we see a dog—happy, healthy, and trusting us again—finally leave for their new family. That success is our driving force! It reminds us that these animals depend entirely on us and that together, we can change their world.

Each of these beautiful stories is made possible by a chain of solidarity that starts with a donation. It's what allows us to do so much more than just fill a food bowl; it gives us the means to pay for the veterinary care essential for their recovery and to offer them a safe environment where they can finally thrive. Witnessing this transformation doesn't just save the animals; it also gives our entire team the hope and strength to carry on. That's why no gesture is too small; every bit of help is an essential link in this chain...

Ultimately, our mission is based on a simple conviction: every life is precious, and every dog has a unique story that deserves to be fought for. When you decide to help, you become an essential part of that story. Your support today is what gives us the strength to continue our work and guarantee these animals the second chance in life they so deeply deserve."
