Injured in a leg, poor Myrtille had to be amputated!

1. He now only has three legs!

Myrtille is a feral cat of about four years old, who was seriously injured in one hind leg. We therefore took him to the vet, who unfortunately had to amputate. So, Myrtille now only has three legs.

He is now recuperating until his wound heals. As he is wild, we will have to release him back to his original site once he's recovered...

2. He will have to live outdoors with his disability...

Myrtille was abandoned in a housing estate, at a feeding site where he has nowhere to shelter. With his disability, life outdoors will be even harder... We are worried for him!

3. Canned food would help him regain strength

To recover from his injury and operation, Myrtille could really use some canned pâté. Such food would provide him with much-needed energy, which would give him the strength to get up, despite his disability.

4. We have never been so short of resources!

Despite our financial means being lower than ever, we are trying to keep going. We have recently taken on a lot of new cases, which makes everything more complicated... The association's budget is in constant deficit!
