Poor Amir was injured and could no longer walk properly...

1. He had a wounded leg...

Amir is a free-roaming cat of about four years of age, who had a wounded back leg. We therefore took him to the vet, where he stayed hospitalised for two weeks.

2. He will have to live outside with his handicap...

As Amir could no longer tolerate being inside because he is feral, we had to release him at a secured site. Unfortunately, there is no shelter on-site, apart from an old trailer that's not waterproof...

3. Canned food would help him regain his strength

To fully recover from his injury and hospitalisation, Amir could really use some canned food. Such nutrition would provide him with precious energy, which would help him cope daily, despite the harsh living conditions he is currently experiencing.

4. We have never had such limited resources!

Despite our financial resources being lower than ever, we are trying to keep going. We have taken on many new cases lately, which makes everything more challenging... The association's budget is in perpetual deficit!
