1. She has nowhere to go!

Pastèque is a roughly 12-year-old cat who lives outside in a garden. Poor Pastèque has nowhere to shelter, and unfortunately, the location is very damp…

2. Inflammation in her mouth hinders her feeding…

Pastèque has a severe case of calicivirus: the inside of her mouth is inflamed, her gums are red, and her teeth are increasingly damaged. A veterinary appointment is scheduled soon so she can receive appropriate treatment.

3. Canned food would provide her with the energy she needs

Wet food would be softer and easier for Pastèque to eat. With such canned food, she could restock her energy daily, which would help her cope, despite the challenging life free-roaming cats face.

4. The needs exceed our means...

We have limited resources and many elderly and sick cats to manage. Our wards need care and food, not to mention the free-roaming cats who also depend on us!
