Following an accident, poor Riley had to have a leg amputated!

1. He only has three legs…

Riley is a five-and-a-half-year-old dog who lost a leg. When he was a puppy, his mother picked him up in her mouth to move him and accidentally crushed a bone.

Due to veterinary misdiagnosis, the injury worsened and he had to be amputated... So Riley now lives with a disability.

2. He lacked proper care and food…

Not long ago, we took Riley in after he was abandoned. He had been locked up in the sun, behind bars for three months...

Due to a lack of suitable food, his teeth are damaged, he is deficient in essential nutrients and underweight!

3. Blankets would allow him to rest comfortably

To regain his strength, Riley will need rest. With blankets, he would be well-settled and could benefit from more restorative sleep. A bit of comfort after all he's been through would be of immense reassurance for him!

4. Donations have never been so low!

Calls for donations often go unanswered… Just yesterday, we only obtained two blankets during an entire morning of collecting! With the ongoing crisis, people cannot afford to give to charities...
