Tigrou is a four-year-old cat, who was abandoned in a supermarket toilet before being taken in by the RSPCA. As he is suffering from calicivirus and is emaciated, the poor soul was at risk of being euthanised! We have therefore taken him under our care.
Tigrou now lives outdoors, on secure premises. There are a few shelters available, but not enough for all of the cats...
A cat house would provide Tigrou a roof over his head and allow him to rest better. He could take refuge in it, and be well sheltered in case of bad weather. It would be a significant relief for him!
Our association, based in Dordogne, has been in existence for 32 years and operates in dozens of communes. In 2024 alone, we sterilised over 1,200 street cats and had 300 kittens adopted!
Unfortunately, times are hard: with the crisis, ends of months are getting more and more difficult. Our canned food stocks are always dangerously close to zero… Feeding 8,000 stray cats represents a colossal budget!
