Thyroid issue, kidneys not working properly: Mayou is getting older and needs a suitable diet!

1. Her thyroid is not working properly...

Mayou is a 17-year-old cat suffering from hyperthyroidism. In order to prevent severe symptoms, she needs to take medication on a daily basis.

2. She has kidney issues!

Over time, Mayou's kidneys have started to function less and less effectively. She is undergoing a treatment for kidney failure, but she has still lost a lot of weight and is not managing to regain it.

3. Suitably adapted canned food would allow her to healthily regain energy

Food formulated to be gentle on the kidneys would be the most suitable for Mayou. Moist and easy to digest, such nutrition would allow her to healthily regain energy. She might then be able to put on a little weight and be in better form.

4. In these challenging times, your help would be very valuable to us!

Recently, we have taken in new cases, bringing the number of our charges to around forty cats and two dogs. We are also feeding free-roaming cats in various locations, representing a significant portion of our budget!
