Poor Dolly can no longer eat dry food due to gingivitis!

1. She is entirely deaf...

Dolly is a 13-year-old cat, who has been in the refuge for six months. She has haematomas in both ears, which means that she is entirely deaf. It's a significant handicap for her! We are doing our best to care for her and watch over her.

2. Her gums are painful!

With age, Dolly's immune defences have become less efficient. Therefore, she has contracted gingivitis, which has become chronic. As her gums are often inflamed, eating dry food has become too painful for her!

3. To regain strength without pain, she will need suitable canned food

A diet specifically designed for senior cats would be ideal for Dolly. Age-appropriate and easy to swallow, this type of wet food would allow her to regain strength daily without any pain.

4. Everything is increasing: the prices and the number of mouths to feed!

At the moment, our Toulon-based association manages 107 animals, including 27 kittens. Many female cats have been found abandoned with their little ones...

Financially, the situation is becoming more and more difficult for us to manage. Not to mention the increase in the prices of care and food, which makes everything even harder!
