Ulcers in the mouth, difficulty eating... just recovered from cat flu, poor Zoé has caught a calicivirus!

1. She's been weakened by cat flu…

Zoe is a two-month-old kitten, who was found in a shed. She had a severe case of cat flu: her nose was blocked, and she had a lot of fever. Luckily, she is starting to get better due to treatment…

2. A calicivirus hinders her from eating!

Sadly, Zoe has also caught a calicivirus. She has ulcers in her mouth that cause her discomfort and pain when eating. Therefore, we apply a gel and give her medication with the aim of relieving her.

3. Blankets would provide the comfort she needs to rest

A kitten needs plenty of rest to grow and even more so when sick. With blankets, Zoe could settle comfortably to recover. She would thus enjoy better sleep, which would be incredibly beneficial in her condition!

4. Our budget is overstretched!

We have recently taken in a lot of kittens, not all of whom are in good health. Some have been found without their mum and have needed a lot of care!

To take these on top of the sixty cats that we already care for is particularly expensive financially… We don't have enough resources!
