Emaciation, inflammation, excessive salivation: poor Elpi keeps having recurring gum inflammations!

1. Her gums are inflamed!

Elpi, a three-year-old cat, is constantly struggling with gum disease. She drools excessively due to the inflammation at the back of her throat! To ease her discomfort, we've had some of her teeth extracted.

However, she continues to have difficulty eating and has lost significant weight. Therefore, we have her on medication designed to alleviate the pain.

2. To regain her strength, she needs suitable canned food

Moist food in the form of pâté would be most suitable for Elpi given her circumstances. This type of food is easy for her to ingest and would enable her to replenish her energy and regain weight, despite her gum disease. It's also a good way for her to take her medication.

3. The food is running out rapidly!

The association is responsible for nearly 300 cats, which is why the food runs out so quickly. All the cats live outdoors; they absolutely need food to survive!

Unfortunately, we're receiving fewer donations during our shopping trolley drives, and we only receive subsidies for neutering. It has become increasingly difficult to provide these felines with enough food!
