Alex found himself on the streets after the death of his owner: the poor thing is completely disoriented and he's fallen ill!

1. He wound up on his own doorstep...

Alex is a cat of about two years old, who found himself abandoned in a garden, following the death of his owner.

He couldn't understand why he suddenly became an outdoor cat! Since then, he's been down and out, unable to adjust to life outside...

2. He's not feeling well!

Beneath his fluffy coat, Alex is very skinny. He also has goopy eyes. It's likely related to cat flu, which could've developed as he's now exposed to dampness.

3. Canned food would help him gain weight

A diet that's tasty and nutrient-packed would greatly buoy Alex's spirits by providing him with a potent energy boost. With such food, he could finally start regaining weight, and his health would improve soon.

4. The association is short of funds...
