Broken leg, deep and pus-filled wounds: poor Mimi has been bitten by dogs!

1. She arrived in a terrible state...

Mimi is a five-year-old Ouessant sheep, who we took in following a report. Poor Mimi was deprived of water, food and care for several years! She arrived infested with parasites...

Having not been sheared for a long time, her wool was very thick. A lot of veterinary care was needed. Despite this, she is deficient and remains very thin...

2. She had suffered severe injuries!

Upon her arrival, Mimi was injured. She had been bitten by hunting dogs, who had broken her leg.

Her wounds were deep and pus-filled, to the point where she found it hard to walk. She had to undergo three weeks of antibiotic treatment, and she still has trouble getting around...

3. Pellets would help to boost her health

A supplementation rich in minerals would ideally help Mimi to recover after all that she's been through.

Being able to eat her fill every day would enable her to gain strength, providing her body with everything it's been severely lacking until now...

4. Many new animals have arrived at the association... we are overwhelmed!

The beginning of 2025 was very difficult for our association. We undertook a large number of rescues, which came with substantial costs.

In addition to dogs and cats, we are now taking in farm animals. No fewer than 11 sheep have arrived, with several currently pregnant!
