Found covered in maggots, little Flocki is battling against persistent cat flu!

1. He was critical when we found him…

Flocki is a three-week-old kitten who was found alone in the middle of a huge field, without his mother. He still had his umbilical cord, but was covered in fly eggs and maggots... His hours were numbered!

We had to promptly step in and fully shave him. The maggots were all over his little body... For the past 15 days that we have been caring for him, he has been battling persistent cat flu and a struggling eye.

2. Blankets would help him maintain his heat

At just three weeks old and with his coat shaven, Flocki struggles to regulate his body temperature. Blankets would allow him to stay warm, which is essential for his recovery.

A cosy and warm environment would assist him in conserving his energy to fight off the cat flu and continue his growth. The soft blankets would also provide comfort for this little one who has had such a challenging start.

3. We're overwhelmed by incoming rescue requests...

We are dealing with an influx of requests due to the full breeding season. The mums with their babies are arriving constantly; sick kittens or those in very poor health needing urgent care.

Not to mention the holiday-related abandonments adding to this already critical situation! Veterinary bills are increasing and we need help to continue saving these little lives.
