Poor Caramel was found with a cut tail and an infected wound!

1. He was seriously injured and had to have an amputation!

Caramel is a two-year-old cat that we rushed to the vet because his tail had been cut off. The injury was still fresh and beginning to infect!

As a result, he was operated on and, sadly, the rest of his tail had to be removed... He currently is in recovery.

2. He can't stand being indoor...

Despite being patient and kind, his foster family finds Caramel very fearful, and he no longer tolerates being indoors. Therefore, he mostly spends his time in the garden, which, although secure, offers him no shelter...

3. A kennel would protect him from the elements

With a place to take shelter, Caramel could get the rest he needs to recover from his surgery, while still having the freedom to come and go as he pleases.

By seeking refuge in the kennel when it rains, he would avoid catching a chill and falling ill. It would be a real comfort for him!

4. Many strays need our help!

Since we don’t have a shelter, we feed free-roaming cats. During this time of year, abandoned cats and kittens are turning up from everywhere!

Without any assistance or grants, it has become very difficult to feed and care for all our charges!
