1. The inside of his mouth is inflamed...

Grizou is a roughly four-year-old cat, who is feral and lives outdoors. He sadly contracted a calicivirus infection that flares up periodically.

When it does, the inside of his mouth becomes inflamed and painful, making it difficult for him to eat. In such instances, we administer treatment to help alleviate his pain...

2. Canned food would allow him to eat without it hurting

Wet food would be easier for Grizou to ingest than dry kibble. Being highly digestible and appetising, such canned food would encourage him to eat regularly. It would also be a good way to allow him to take his medication. This could indeed start a much-needed positive cycle!

3. We are overwhelmed with the arrival of kittens!

We have already taken 56 kittens and nine mothers into our care... With 80 stray cats to feed, we dread the arrival of additional kittens, as the birthing season is far from over...

All the costs associated with their care represent a significant burden, leaving us with less to dedicate to food!
