Animal Webaction visited the site 20 July 2025 and confirms the situation described below.

"We're caring for over 200 dogs at the shelter right now, and that number just keeps growing. It's simple : for every two dogs we manage to get adopted, ten more show up at our door! With this constant influx, our food needs are literally exploding.
We've been forced to ration kibble portions for 5 weeks already. We're desperately trying to make it last a little longer... But it's clearly not sustainable, especially with all these new arrivals.
The dogs aren't eating enough, and they're not eating well either. They're eating ultra low-grade kibble, and they all have diarrhea! Unfortunately, we can't afford to buy better food, or more... I feel useless, powerless, and I'm very worried about their survival."

"This lack of kibble is a disaster for our dogs' health and behavior. They're not eating enough, they have digestive problems... And naturally, it stresses them out enormously. They fight over what little food there is!
For our most vulnerable dogs, the situation is even more serious. If we don't find kibble, it's inevitable: the stronger ones will dominate and let the weaker ones starve to death! We have to be there to support them, to prevent that.
Personally, if I have bread to eat, I'll get by. But my dogs, they come before everything. I want the best for them. Unfortunately, without the support of this campaign, I won't be able to give them what they need. I'm terrified that we might fail..."

"Zoki was callously dumped at our gate in 2019, already injured. Unfortunately, since then, he's had a stroke, which left him with serious aftereffects. He can't control his movements well, and his body is permanently weakened. The vet warned us that his health will deteriorate even more without good quality food...
But the problem is, we can't afford to buy any! If this campaign fails, honestly, I don't know how we're going to feed him and prevent his health from getting worse. Zoki still has that frightened look in his eyes, and unfortunately, I share his anxiety..."

"Our organization's financial situation is, to be clear, catastrophic. We receive virtually no donations. The only recent one we had was 25 euros, that barely covers a tiny fraction of our needs. Since COVID and the war in Ukraine, our donations have plummeted and never bounced back...
We're overwhelmed by enormous debts, whether for water or veterinary bills. It's bringing us to our knees. Because of the lack of funds, we've had to cut back on essential care... And food, obviously. The dogs don't even have the luxury of having enough to eat each morning anymore. I literally have to count every piece of kibble.
Nothing is harder than finding donations. It's really discouraging when I think about it. If we'd had a few more donations, maybe we could have saved the young female dog who died recently... And we could feed our dogs properly! This campaign isn't just crucial, it's our last hope to save all the dogs we have and continue rescuing others."

"I dedicate my life to these animals. Running this shelter isn't a job : it's a calling. In our country, abandonment and abuse are exploding; the situation is critical. Yet I hold on: they have no one else.
Their gaze, their trust, that's what drives me to continue. Saving one life, just one, changes everything. We've already made progress on spaying and neutering, but the overpopulation still escapes our control.
I receive no public or local support; everything depends on my pension. I really need you. A bag of kibble isn't just food, it's a chance to live, to be safe, to be loved. And if the campaign succeeds, I'll finally be able to sleep peacefully knowing they'll have something to eat every day..."
