1. He has lost weight due to a calicivirus…

Doudou is a roughly 10-year-old cat, living outdoors. Because of a calicivirus, he has ulcers in his mouth and on his tongue. His gums are also a bit red because they are inflamed.

So we apply some ointment for him and provide him treatment through his food, in order to ease his pain. But as he is struggling to eat, he has lost weight…

2. To regain strength, he will need canned senior cat food

A diet specifically designed for senior cats would allow Doudou to eat more easily. We could slip his pills into this food, so he will have no difficulty swallowing them.

With such a diet, he could regain some weight and support his health into his old age!

3. It's getting worse and worse!

With the crisis, more and more cats are being abandoned directly on the street. We are left to our own devices to neuter and feed them, as almost no local councils help us!

Most of these cats are often in very bad shape and require a lot of care. Last year alone, we incurred £22,000 in veterinary costs! How are we supposed to afford food for them after such bills?
