Poor Caramel was found with his tail cut off and an infected wound!

1. He was gravely injured and had to have an amputation!

Caramel is a two-year-old cat that we rushed to the vet as he had a severed tail. The injury was recent and starting to become infected!

He underwent surgery and, unfortunately, the rest of his tail needed to be removed... He is currently recuperating.

2. He can't stand being indoors...

Despite all the patience and kindness of his foster family, Caramel is very fearful and can no longer tolerate being indoors. Therefore, he spends most of his time in the garden, which despite being a safe space, offers him no shelter...

3. Blankets would provide a much-needed rest

A set of blankets would allow Caramel to always have a clean place to lie down and rest, helping minimise the risk of post-operative infection. He could also snuggle warmly under them at night, better protected from the wind and damp.
