Poor Tango lives outside, with a bad case of calicivirus!

1. A virus is ruining his life!

Tango is a cat of about six years, who has contracted a severe calicivirus. He drools so much that his fur is clumped up under his chin! Occasionally there's pus, as the inside of his mouth is very inflamed...

Eating has been challenging for him these past two months, resulting in weight loss. We plan to give him treatment to ease his discomfort and soothe his symptoms.

2. He lives outdoors!

Poor Tango lives outside, compounding his health problems. He does his best to shelter under cars when it rains, but he's at risk of getting run over at any time!

3. A kennel would provide the shelter he needs.

Having a kennel would mean that Tango wouldn’t have to sleep directly on the damp, dirty ground of the street. He could use it as a retreat, providing protection from wind and rain, which would be a huge comfort for him.

4. Epidemics are raging among stray cats...

At present, an increasing number of cats are in need. In total, over 60 tomcats are depending on us for help. Unfortunately, epidemics of calicivirus and cat flu are raging...

The veterinary costs for taking care of this crowd are astronomical. We're left with insufficient budget to buy blankets and special nutrition food for those in need...
