Xena gave birth to her kitten on the street and needs to put on weight!

1. She has lost weight!

Xena is a two-year-old cat, found in the street with her two-and-a-half-month-old kitten. Childbirth was challenging to the point that she has become thin.

We've therefore set her up in a secure area with her kitten, in order to socialise them. We hope to then find them a loving family.

2. Canned food would help her gain weight

A protein-rich diet would aid Xena in effectively restocking her energy levels. So she could gradually recover from the past few months and slowly regain weight. Once in better health, she would have a better chance of being adopted!

3. The birthing season is indeed a financial puzzle...

The birthing season comes with many abandonments. Our charity carries out numerous rescues, but we have very little income. Hence we request your help in feeding the most vulnerable among our sixty wards…
