Watery eyes, loosening teeth, blocked nose: poor Shadow is suffering from both cat flu and calicivirus!

1. She can no longer chew...

Shadow is a stray cat, about 2 years old, that we've taken in. Unfortunately, she contracted calicivirus. Her gums grew so inflamed that some of her teeth loosened. As such, she's finding it hard to eat!

2. She is ill...

Shadow also has a severe cat flu: her eyes are continuously water-ridden, her nose runs, and she's lost her appetite. So, we add treatment to her food to help alleviate these symptoms.

3. Canned food would help her regain strength

Tempting and moist food would encourage Shadow to eat more regularly. Thus, she could replenish her vitamins to regain a bit of energy. It would also provide an easy method for her to ingest her medication.

4. The birthing season is a real financial headache...

With the birthing season, abandonments increase. Our association is, therefore, conducting a lot of rescues, yet we have very little income. So, we're asking for your help to feed the most vulnerable among our sixty rescues...
