Chocapic is a horse of around 17 years old, who we took in a few months ago following a seizure. As he had nothing to eat, he was gnawing on rocks, which has greatly damaged his teeth! He was very thin and aggressive when he arrived, because the lack of food was causing him great distress …

2. To be more calm and in better shape, he needs a nutritious diet

Supplemental feeding with pellets would allow Chocapic to eat his fill, while getting a daily dose of good nutrients. With such a diet each day, he would be able to gain weight and gradually calm down.
