Poor Tigrou was abandoned in a supermarket toilet and almost got euthanised!

1. Abandoned when he was sick, he faced euthanasia!

Tigger is a cat of around four years old, who was abandoned in the toilets of a supermarket before being taken in by the RSPCA. As he suffers from calicivirus and he is malnourished, he risked being euthanised! We have therefore taken him in.

2. He now lives outdoors...

Tigger now lives outdoors, on a secure piece of land. There are a few shelters on site, but not enough for all the cats...

3. Canned food would enable him to eat without pain

A wet diet would be perfect to allow Tigger to eat without too much discomfort to his inflamed gums. He could thus regain his strength, put on weight and stay properly hydrated, despite the sweltering summer heat.

4. The expenses are immense!

Our association based in Dordogne has existed for 32 years and operates in dozens of municipalities. As of 2024 alone, we have sterilised over 1,200 street tomcats and facilitated the adoption of 300 kittens!

Unfortunately, times are tough: with the current crisis, ends are increasingly difficult to meet. Our food supplies are always perilously close to zero... Sustaining 8,000 stray cats represents a colossal budget!
