Abandoned in a container, Lewis has lost part of his paw!

1. He has a disability...

Lewis is an 11-year-old cat that we found when he was just a kitten. He was abandoned along with his sister in a glass recycling bin. Tragically, his sister could never be extracted from the bin and did not survive...

Injured, Lewis lost part of his right rear leg. Since then, he limps and can't put weight on it. He also remained very fearful and was traumatised by this episode in his life!

2. Senior cat canned food could help him to regain strength

If Lewis could benefit from food suitable for his age, it would be a real advantage for him. Replenishing his energy through such canned food would enable him to stay healthy, despite his disability.

Providing him with such appetising food every day would be a good way to soothe him and to maintain a connection with him, despite his stress.

3. The costs are monumental!

Our association based in Dordogne has been running for 32 years and operates across dozens of municipalities. In 2024 alone, we've neutered over 1,200 tomcats and managed to get 300 kittens adopted!

Sadly, times are hard: with the crisis, making ends meet is becoming increasingly challenging. Our food supplies are always dangerously close to being depleted... Feeding 8,000 stray cats demands a considerable budget!
