Poor Zola has had a bout of cat flu followed by a calicivirus, which has significantly drained her energy!

1. She has been weakened by cat flu...

Zola is a two-month-old kitten who was found in a shed. She had a very severe case of cat flu: her nose was blocked and she had a high fever. Thankfully, she's starting to get better thanks to treatment…

2. Calicivirus makes it difficult for her to eat!

Unfortunately, Zola also contracted calicivirus. She has ulcers in her mouth that cause discomfort and pain when eating. That's why we apply gel and give her medicine, to alleviate her pain.

3. Canned food would allow her to eat without pain

Wet food would be easier for Zola to eat, considering the inflammation and lesions in her mouth. Specifically designed for kittens, this canned food would provide all the vitamins and proteins she needs to grow properly. It would be perfect for her!

4. Our budget is overstretched!

We've recently taken in a lot of kittens, who are not all in good health. Some have been found without their mum and needed a lot of care!

Taking care of them alongside of the sixty cats we already look after is particularly costly… We simply don’t have enough resources!
